my heart is full for friends

PSALM 127:1-5

Unless the LORD builds the house, it's builders labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand on guard in vain.
In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat- for he grants sleep to those he loves.

Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children are a reward from him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are son's born in one's youth.
Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.
They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.

  1. I love this passage. It is what we prayed repeatedly when we were waiting to find out if we were approved to adopt, and he delivered! I firmly believe that this does not only apply to our flesh and blood children, but adoption was God's idea in the first place, and a blessing it is indeed. :) I like where you were going with this. There is just something about sons, (not that there isn't about daughters though) and I, along with a certian other lovely little family I know ;) , am blessed to have three of them!
